Beachworld is a short story by Stephen King, set in the far future (the last of the Beach Boys died 300 years ago). It concerns the crew of a starship that crashland on a planet composed entirely of sand - living sand, as it turns out.

It first appeared in Weird Tales in 1985, then in his anthology Skeleton Crew in 1986.
