Barrhead, Alberta

Barrhead is a small town in the Canadian province of Alberta with a population of 4257 people. It houses the province's correspondence school and its official bird is the Great Blue Heron. It was named after the Scottish town Barrhead, the birthplace of one of the area’s early settlers, James McGuire.
