Barkston Ash is a small village close to Selby, North Yorkshire.
Barkston Ash was also the name of the local parliamentary constituency in the UK up until 1983, when it's boundaries were redrawn to divide the area into Elmet and Selby. The Barkston Ash constituency was traditionally a safe Tory seat, though both successive constituencies turned to Labour.
