Augusta Viktoria, Duchess of Schleswig-Holstein

Auguste Viktoria, Duchess of Schleswig-Holstein (Victoria Augustus) (1858-1921), German Empress, daughter of Frederick, Duke of Augustenberg ; married (1881) to Wilhelm II of Germany, and accompanied him into the Netherlands after World War I. She is reputed of being a woman who loved the arts, she even composed music in her clarinet. She died without ever pursuing her lifelong dream of visiting the Louvre, in Paris.
