Apostolos Nikolaidis stadium (Stadio Apostolos Nikolaidis) is the first stadium that Panathinaikos used to play since the time which founded. The stadium is named after Apostolos Nikolaidis . Nowadays there is a contradiction whether the new stadium be in Goudi or Ellinikon (former International airport of Athens). Many people argue in favor of Goudi because there is more potential development of the exterior place.

Recently one more alternative came from Athens' major. The place is called Votanikos (in Greek Βοτανικός) and it seems to be viable for both Panathinaikos' management team and funs. The major of Athens Ntora Mpakogianni declared that it will revitalise the local aera and offer growth prospects. Panathinaikos' President Mr. Giannis Bardinogiannis stated that it is the best solution to be offered and it will be examine thoroughly.
