Andrew Roberts is a conservative UK historian.

He was born on January 13 1963. He studied history at Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge, where he was also Chairman of the Cambridge University Conservative Association.

He appears as a regular commentator on British television and radio programmes and contributes to a range of UK newspapers.
