Amphetamine Reptile Records (or AmRep) was founded in 1986 by Tom Hazelmeyer. Originally the label existed solely to release records by Hazelmeyer's band, Halo of Flies, but eventually the label's roster expanded to include releases by Helmet, The Melvins and others.

The label is best known for the Dope, Guns 'n' Fucking In The Streets series of compilations.
