	Alva Alva is a burgh in Clackmannanshire, Scotland. Situated at the head of Alva Glen , the town grew around weaving and silver mining. Alva is also a city located in Lee County, Florida. Parts of Alva lie on both sides of the Caloosahatchee River. Alva is also a city in Woods County, Oklahoma. Alva is the home of Northwestern Oklahoma State University.
