The albedo of an object is its optical reflectivity, i.e., the extent to which it reflects light.
An albedo feature is a large area on the surface of a planet (or other solar system body) which shows a contrast in brightness or darkness (albedo) with adjacent areas.
The albedo is also the "spongy white tissue on the inside of the rind of citrus fruit" (American Heritage Dictionary) between the peel and the fruit. See Citrus Fruits for an illustration and discussion.
