Adrian Păunescu, (Born July 20, 1943) is a Romanian poet-turned-politician, is currently the leader of the Socialist Alliance Party, a successor party to the former Communist rulers. His wife killed 4 people in a car accident by her fault and she didn't get any punishment because of Adrian Paunescu political influence. He supported the Communist party and Ceausescu dictator writing a lots of poems and during the revolution he ran from streets not to be killed by people.
