The AJS was an English car manufactured by the motorcycle company A. J. Stevens Ltd. between 1930 and 1933. Few of the light cars, each of which had a 1081cc Coventry-Climax engine, were sold, and the design was soon taken over by Crossley . A 1½-liter model was planned, but failed to materialize except to appear at the 1932 Motor Show .
