A. Whitney Brown

A. Whitney Brown (born Alan Whitney Brown on July 8, 1952, in Charlotte, Michigan), is a comedian probably best known for his recurring appearance on Saturday Night Live in the 1980s as a joke news correspondent opposite Dennis Miller who delivered humorous opinion pieces known as "The Big Picture".

More recently, he has appeared on The Daily Show also as a joke news correspondent. He has also worked as a writer for these comedy shows as well as Tales from the Crypt.

Brown began his career as a street juggler and musician before finding regular employment as a comedian and comedy writer.
