387 Aquitania is a fairly large Main belt asteroid. It is classified as a S-type asteroid and is probably composed of a mixture of silicates and metals.

It was discovered by F. Courty on March 5, 1894 in Bordeaux. It was second of his two asteroid discoveries. The first was 384 Burdigala.
